Manchester City will be without Fernandinho after the midfielder suffered a thigh injury in the EFL Cup Final win over Arsenal.
Raheem Sterling is also struggling with a thigh injury, but could return. Fabian Delph is suspended. Benjamin Mendy is not expected back until April.
For Chelsea, Ross Barkley (thigh, hamstring) and Tiemoue Bakayoko (knock) are doubts for the weekend clash. David Luiz (knock) has been ruled out.
